Dr. Ashwaghosha Parthasarathi

Dr. Ashwaghosha Parthasarathi is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. His research examines climate-related impacts on chronic diseases, primarily respiratory outcomes. His research interest focuses on how extreme temperatures, air pollution, and flooding affect marginalized and under-resourced communities. He employs GIS to analyze spatial and temporal health trends and conduct disease mapping and disaster assessments. Additionally, Dr. Parthasarathi explores sustainable healthcare practices through life cycle assessment to reduce healthcare’s environmental impact in the context of climate risks.
